ANNOUNCEMENT FOR OUR ENGLISH MEDIUM PROGRAM STUDENTS!
26 January 2026 | 14:07

According to Article 8, Paragraph 1 of the Gazi University Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulation:
“Each student must complete the course registration process within the periods specified in the academic calendar and renew their registration for the relevant semester. A student who fails to renew their registration within the specified period cannot attend classes or take examinations in that semester.”
According to Paragraph 5 of the same article, the student must obtain semester/year course registration approval from their academic advisor.

  • In accordance with the Regulation, all students are required to complete their course registrations and approvals for the 2025–2026 SPRING semester between 02–04 FEBRUARY 2026.
(International students who have exceeded the normal education period (6 years) and who are not scholarship holders will be able to complete their online course registration and approval procedures only after paying their tuition fees.)
  • 5th and 6th year students who are studying in an extended year, as well as non-scholarship international students, will only pay their contribution fees and will not perform any other procedures (course registration or approval). The approval they completed in the Fall semester is sufficient. However, if there is any outstanding contribution fee debt, their current course registrations will be cancelled.
  • Since advisor approval cannot be granted without student approval, for this semester:
1st Year Students: TAR-102 (History), TD-102 (Turkish Language),
    ENG-104 (English), ADS-101 (Non-vocational Elective),
SSP-102 (Social Responsibility Projects and Student Practices)
2nd Year Students: MEN-202 (English) and one elective course from the 2nd year
3rd Year Students: MEN-302 (English) and one elective course from the 3rd year
    4th Year Students: MEN-402 (English)

Students are required to select these courses to complete the first step of the registration process and then proceed to the second step by giving their student course registration approval. Class Coordinators must then provide advisor approval for students who have completed their approvals.

All students are required to check their transcripts and, if applicable, select any failed or not previously taken lower-year elective courses and 5(i) courses.

Students who fail to complete the two-step approval process will not be able to benefit from student rights and will not be allowed to take examinations, which may result in loss of time.

This is announced with importance.
