Education Programs

In our country’s Medical Schools, the first year students take the first step on the road to medical doctorate  through theoretical and applied courses of Medical Biology and Genetics. The purpose of these courses is to give molecular biology and basic genetics subjects to the students with the latest information. Within this context, basic information on the living is given; cell structure and their functions are explained, the latest information on basic human genetics concept, molecular genetics and gene technologies are taught. First term students are taught 80 hours of theoretic, and 20 hours of applied classes by the academic members. The Turkish Medicine Term 1 students are taught by Prof. Dr. Sevda MENEVŞE, Prof. Dr. Abdullah EKMEKÇİ and Instructor Dr. H. İlke ÖNEN; the English Medicine Term 1 students are taught by Prof. Dr. Adnan MENEVŞE, Asst. Prof. Ece KONAÇ and Instructor Dr. H. İlke ÖNEN.
