History

Orthopedics and traumatology Division is one of the founder clinics of the faculty of medicine established dependent upon Ankara Academy of Economics. It  had served at Dr. Muhittin ÜLKER Emergency and Traumatology Hospital since 1986. The first lecturers are; Associate Professor Doctor Orhan ASLANOĞLU, Associate Professor Doctor İnanç AYAS, Assistant Professor Doctor Şahap ATİK and Associate Professor Doctor Özcan KAYMAK.

 In 1982, after the establishment of Gazi University, it became a department and Professor Doctor Rıdvan EGE became the first head of the Division and had been the head since 1984.
