Plastic Surgery And The Things You Wonder

What is plastic surgery?

Plastic surgery is all of the operations that are implemented to change the appearance of one person. The word ‘plastic’ comes from the word ‘plastikos’ which means reshaping in Greek. The history of Plastic surgery goes back to India and Rome and has been implemented for years.

What is aesthetic/reconstructive surgery?

Aesthetic surgery is implemented to reshape  the normal appearance of the person to increase his/her self confidence. But it can never take the time back, it cannot create a new ‘you’. It can only contribute to your appearance and increase your self confidence.

Reconstructive surgery covers the operations which are implemented to function or to make the appearance nearly normal and it deals with congenital and growth abnormalities, trauma, infection, tumour or other abnormalities which occur relating to other diseases.
