Important Announcement for 1st-2nd-3rd Year Students

(Small Workshops Groups)

Under the approval numbered 2022/317 by the Senate of Gazi University, the "Gazi University Faculty of Medicine Turkish and English Program Undergraduate Education - Instruction and Examination Regulations" states in article 17 that "It is mandatory to obtain a raw score of 70 points in the end-of-term (year) exam for Small Group Workshops in the years I, II, III. Students who fail to score 70 points raw cannot take the end-of-year exam." The weightings of grades for small group studies within the scope of Small Group Workshops have been discussed in the Coordinators' Committees and decided to be implemented as "Weight Percentages for Small Group Workshops for the 2023-2024 Academic Year" with the approval of the Faculty Board, as shown in the table below.

According to Article 14 of the same regulation, it is stated that "students with an attendance rate of more than 20% in each small group study within the scope of Small Group Workshops will receive zero (0) points from the relevant small group study." Therefore, the attendance requirement is applied in all training sessions of group study.
