2024–2025 Academic Year – Turkish and English Medical Programs

In accordance with the Gazi University Faculty of Medicine Directive on Undergraduate Education and Examinations for the Turkish and English Medical Programs, the 2024–2025 Academic Year Progress Test will be administered to students in all years.

The Progress Test is a relative assessment in which students from all years take the same examination at the same time and answer the same questions. It provides information about students’ academic progress throughout medical education and their standing within their own year. Participation in the Progress Test is voluntary.

In accordance with Article 17, Paragraph 9 of the Gazi University Faculty of Medicine Directive on Undergraduate Education and Examinations for the Turkish and English Medical Programs, Progress Test scores may, upon the student’s request, be added to the total committee scores or to an end-of-clerkship achievement score at the rate specified in the Directive.

In the year-specific relative evaluation of the Progress Test, 5% of the student’s score out of 100 is taken into account as follows:

For Years 1, 2, and 3, 5% of the Progress Test score is added to the total committee scores and included in the calculation of the committee average.
For Years 4 and 5, 5% of the Progress Test score is added to the final achievement score of one clerkship selected by the student. However, in accordance with the decision of the relevant boards, the student must have successfully passed the end-of-clerkship examination for the selected clerkship.

Participation in the examination is optional and not compulsory. Only students who apply and register through the links provided below will be admitted to the Progress Test.
