IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE EVALUATION OF DC AND DD GRADES

Dear Students,

Certain provisions of the Gazi University Associate and Undergraduate Education, Training and Examination Regulations, published in the Official Gazette on October 21, 2025, will be implemented as of the 2026-2027 Academic Year, in accordance with the decision of the University Senate.

In this context, Article 16, Paragraph 7 of the Regulations states:

This provision will therefore be implemented starting from the 2026-2027 Academic Year.

Accordingly, for students whose relevant semester/year-end grade point average is below 2.00, DC and DD grades will not be considered passing grades.

To avoid any academic disadvantage, all students are strongly advised to monitor their grade point averages and course performance regularly.
